Contact. To contact me please fill in the form via this link. Bio.I've been taking photographs since I was 15 (1984). Initially with my father's Minolta XG and then with my own Canon EOS 10. This began a long standing interest in landscape photography which has been developing ever since, bringing with it an interest in nature and walking. I first dipped my toe in digital with the point-and-click Canon S20 and then a more controllable Nikon Coolpix 990. With my purchase of the Canon EOS D30 I began to take many more shots than I ever did on film. This hobby has been combined with my working career, which started in computer programming and a keen interest in graphics. It's including a 14 year stint in the games industry working for companies such as Psygnosis, Sensible Software, EA and others. My interest in photography has recently become more serious with a move to the Canon EOS 1Ds and sales of my images on the Alamy stock library. The first sale being used for the front cover of Country Walking magazine (Peak District issue 2005). Along with this, I've started this site and www.neilduffinphotography.com to showcase some of my work. This is still mainly landscapes, but now also includes macro, wildlife and abstract. With the purchase of an Epson R-D1 and a few Zeiss / Voigtlander lenses in 2006, I'm hoping to increase the scope of my photography to include some street and portrait work. I live in Derbyshire (United Kingdom) with my partner Caroline and hope to make the jump to full-time professional photography sometime in the future. |
